Sony has released their latest PSP bundle, this time a red God of War-themed PSP bundled together with the game God of War: Chains of Olympus, the movie Superbad on UMD, and a voucher to download the game Syphon Filter: Combat Ops.
The limited-edition “Deep Red” PSP features an image of Kratos’ on the back.
Look for the bundle at your favorite game retailer for $199.99
No official word from Epic on exactly when Gears of War 2 will be released, but according to Lester “Mighty Rasta” Speight, the voice behind the game’s character Cole Train and football player turned actor, says that it’s coming on November 16th.
Previously all we knew was that the game would be arriving this November so this is the first time we’ve heard an actual date mentioned.
If nothing else its a good guess since that date is entirely possible.
Graphics chip maker NVIDIA seems to be growing more and more full of themselves by the day.
First, NVIDIA CEO Jen Hsun-Huang called Intel’s integrated graphics offerings “a joke” and then said that his company was “going to open a can of whoop-ass” on Intel.
Yes, Jen “Captain 80’s” Hsun-Huang really said that.
Now NVIDIA VP of Content Relations Roy Taylor has joined the party saying that “a war has started” and that the Intel CPU was “dead” in an email he sent to his “friends” that happened to leak out.
He Taylor continued saying that Intel is “panicking” because CPU’s have “run out of steam” and they “no longer make anything run faster.”
Neither mentioned poor AMD so I guess this shows you who their real competition is now.
If you’re in the market for a Sony PSP and can wait until June, you might want to check out the God of War PSP Entertainment Pack.
This June Sony will be releasing a Limited-Edition “Deep Red” PSP with Kratos (the protagonist in the God of War games) silkscreened onto the back for $199.99.
Also included in this bundle is the upcoming game “God of War: Chains of Olympus”, the movie Superbad on UMD, and a voucher to download “Syphon Filter: Combat Ops” from the PLAYSTATION Store for free.
If you don’t need the PSP but would still like the new God of War game it will be hitting stores on March 4th.
The first Gears of War for the Xbox 360 rocked. It also had some really frustrating moments, but it rocked way more than it sucked.
You knew there would be a Gears of War 2, but until today it wasn’t official.
At the end of Microsoft’s keynote today at GDC they dropped the Gears of War 2 bomb and showed a teaser video that revealed very little but was still pretty cool to watch if for nothing else to see the chainsaw bayonet in action.
Very little is known about the game right now, but Cliffy B did take the stage as the teaser video finished to say that the game would be an Xbox 360 exclusive and would be shipping this November!
Hopefully the game won’t hit any delays–I know I’m looking forward to playing it this holiday season.
BTW–that’s the temporary box art so expect it to change before the game hits retail.
