24 Hour Fitness has announced that they will be bringing in new gym equipment featuring support for Nike+ iPod connectivity to several of their locations in New York, San Francisco, Miami, Denver, Portland and Salt Lake City.
The new machines will allow you to record data from your workout and upload it to NikePlus.com where you can keep track of your stats and challenge others from around the world to a virtual race.

“Nike and Apple worked with major gym equipment manufacturers to make their cardio equipment Nike+iPod compatible so gym members can easily track and record workouts on cardio equipment like treadmills, stair steppers, elliptical trainers and stationary bikes.”
Look for the new equipment to arrive sometime in July.

The producers of the television show “24” on are in the process of developing a 2-hour prequel to the upcoming seventh season.
The prequel is to help bridge the gap between seasons six and seven and is iexpected to air this fall with the full season starting in January.
