Microsoft opens up LiveMesh for anyone with a Windows Live ID
When Microsoft first announced LiveMesh a few months ago there was initially a waiting list to get in and start using the service but it looks like the company is now confident enough in the service that anyone with a Windows Live ID can now sign-in and start using it.
What is LiveMesh?
LiveMesh is a new web service that helps you keep files synchronized between multiple PC’s via the Internet so no need to worry about having to manually files to a flash drive or email them to yourself to make sure you have the right version.
Right now the service is only compatible with PC’s running Windows XP or Vista, but Microsoft is working on a client for mobile devices and Mac’s too which hopefully will be ready for testing soon.
