Guitar Hero: Aerosmith info and partial song list

Later this month game publisher Activision is set to release a spin-off of their Guitar Hero franchise that celebrates one of rocks greatest bands with Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.

The game will be a stand-alone title so you won’t need to already own a previous version of Guitar Hero to play it, but if you do you’ll be glad to know that it will be available either with a “guitar” controller or as a stand-alone disc.

The song list won’t be ALL Aerosmith songs, rather it is expected to be about 60-percent Aerosmith songs and 40-percent other artists that either inspired or were inspired by Aerosmith such as Stone Temple Pilots, Deep Purple and The White Stripes.

The song list will include:

Mott the Hoople: All the Young Dudes
Cheap Trick: Dream Police
