aTV Flash pulled (for now) due to licensing issues

Apple Core, makers of the aTV Flash for easy hacking of an Apple TV without voiding the devices warranty, pulled the device and cancelled and refunded all outstanding orders.

The reason? Questions about the “fair use of a particular file present on the aTV Flash.”

The company insists that the move is not due to legal pressure from Apple or anyone else for that matter, they just “need to clarify some licensing issues” and will be selling the product again once things are cleared up. Unfortunately they did not present a timeline for when this may be done but hopefully it won’t take long.
