First Tesla Motors dealership opens in LA
Electric sports car maker Tesla Motors has opened its first dealership in Los Angeles at one of the busiest intersections in the city.
Near the 405 highway at the corner of Santa Monica and Sepulveda boulevards, the 10000 square foot dealership cost roughly $2 million to make.
The next dealership location will be in Menlo Park, California, near the company’s headquarters and is expected to open by this summer. Additional dealerships are expected to be built in New York, Miami, Seattle and Chicago by the first quarter of next year according to Darryl Siry, vice president of sales, marketing and service for Tesla Motors.
