Larry Ellison’s yacht too big, will build smaller one
Poor Larry Ellison. Oracle’s CEO has the second-largest private yacht in the world (the 454-foot ‘Rising Sun’), but its too big to dock at most ports throughout the world so he’s often forced to tie it up with oil tankers and container ships at industrial ports, or anchor offshore.
One of Larry’s friends compares walking in the giant ship to “walking in an empty mall.”
What will the wealthy executive do? Build a smaller yacht.
Don’t feel bad for Ellison–the new yacht will be around 262-feet long, so still long enough that his friends won’t laugh at him.
Smaller…but still obnoxious.
