New ‘Soul’ slider phone coming from Samsung
Just days before the big Mobile World Congress expo opens in Barcelona, Samsung has announced their new hotness–meet the Soul.
The Samsung Soul is a 12.9-mm thin slider phone that will feature:
- Touchscreen interface that adapts to your usage
- Quad-band GSM
- 7.2Mbps HSDPA
- 2.2-inch QVGA display
- 5 megapixel camera with image stabilization, a Power LED flash, 4x digital zoom, face detection, and QVGA video recording
- FM radio
- microSD slot
- Bluetooth 2.0
Geesung Choi, President of Samsung’s Telecommunication Business, says, “we believe that Soul is the answer for today’s style-conscious consumers, excited by outstanding quality design and performance.”
So what’s up with the touchscreen interface that adapts to you?
“With Magical Touch by DaCP™, navigation indicators on the keypad of the phone change according to the user’s needs, making navigation of the menus simple, intuitive and direct. The navigation panel’s icons change according to function.”
The Soul will be on display at the Mobile World Congress expo and is expected to be available in Europe this April. No world on pricing yet.
Is it coming to the US? Hopefully, but that hasn’t been mentioned so far.
