Microsoft responds to Yahoo rejection
Microsoft responded today to Yahoo! officially turning down their acquisition offer, saying in their press release that “it is unfortunate that Yahoo! has not embraced our full and fair proposal to combine our companies.”
Their press release seemed aimed at Yahoo! shareholders, trying to convince them how good the deal would be for them.
Also included in the public response seemed to be a threat:
“Microsoft reserves the right to pursue all necessary steps to ensure that Yahoo!’s shareholders are provided with the opportunity to realize the value inherent in our proposal.”

I guess this one isn’t over just yet…
